Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Industry: Wind Energy – Research & Development

Location: Turkey

 

Job Profile:

To review new designs of mechanical components, Technical Reports, Calculation Reports, 2D Drawings + 3D Files, all against Specifications. To give Support during Validation Process.

 

Responsibilities:

•              To check new Design 2D Drawing + 3D received from a new Supplier against client ODI Drawing Specification

•              To check Calculation Report received from a new Supplier against client Requirement Document

•              To check Data Sheet and rest of Design evidences received from new Supplier against client Requirement Document

•              To create client internal documentation. PDDD (Product Development Design Detail)

•              To give Support for Validation issues according client VRAC-Validation Plan

•              To give Support to Supplier during the creation of Test Specification against client Validation Plan

•              To attend Tests to perform at Supplier Facilities and/or Tests Labs

•              To create client Test Report & Compliance report

•              To give Support to new Supplier and Region questions

•              Laboratory testing: mechanical test and metallographic analysis

•              Support Regional Engineering during wind-farm project acquisition and execution in all technical questions related to mechanical components delivered       by local sub-suppliers

 

Qualification:

• Degree in Engineering such as Mechanical Engineering, Actuation Systems, Mechanisms, Drive Trains

 

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

•              Experience in Mechanisms, Hydraulic Actuation Systems

•              Experience in Hydraulic Cylinders, Hydraulic Units

•              High English level spoken and written

 

Desired Knowledge and Experience:

•              Experience in Gear Reductor

•              Experience in Bearings

•              Knowledge in Calculation by Simulation (FEA). Abacus

•              Knowledge in Metallic Materials

•              Knowledge in Surface treatments

•              Knowledge in Graphic Design Software like CATIA

 

Mobility:

• 1 month initial training will be required in Spain
• Suitable candidates will be able to occasionally visit suppliers within Turkey as well as other client offices
